Italian Greyhound sweat shirt, designed for slender bodies and narrow waists

This Italian Greyhound sweat shirt was specially developed for the unique body proportions of this sensitive and delicate breed. The fine rib cage, narrow waist, low body mass, and overall very delicate build place special demands on dog clothing. Standard cuts often fit too loosely in the chest area or wrinkle in the waist area for these proportions, and we have developed the solution with this shirt.

The sleeveless cut ensures maximum freedom of movement for the front legs and supports the natural movement sequence when running and playing. Soft cuffs at the armholes and an elastic waistband in the belly area keep the shirt securely on the body without exerting pressure. The back is fully covered, while the narrow waist is cleanly sculpted, so the shirt neither slips nor restricts.

This model is particularly suitable for Italian Greyhounds and other small, delicate dogs with a similar build.

Soft cotton sweat with a comfortable feel on the dog’s body

Made from high quality cotton sweat with a lightly brushed inner surface, this fabric provides a particularly comfortable feel on the dog’s body. The cotton blend is breathable, shape stable and soft enough for sensitive sighthounds. Thanks to its dense structure, the shirt is ideal for cooler days, transitional seasons or as an additional layer under another garment.

The blend of 67 percent cotton and 33 percent polyester ensures durability and long lasting quality without compromising comfort. Even after repeated washing at 30 degrees, the fabric remains stable and comfortable. Minimal shrinkage is normal with cotton sweat and has been taken into account during sizing development, so the fit remains consistent.

Handmade in our Berlin manufactory

Each shirt is carefully handmade in our own manufactory in Berlin. Our aim is to develop high-quality sighthound fashion and whippet clothing that adapts exactly to the anatomy of the sighthound, is functionally well thought out, and reliably accompanies the dog in everyday life as well as during sporting activity. And also looks very good.

Fit & Size Selection

To ensure the shirt fits your dog perfectly, please refer to our size chart and the measuring instructions:

• Back length: starting between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail
• Chest circumference: at the deepest point of the rib cage
• Neck circumference: centrally around the neck (where the collar usually sits)

When measuring, make sure your dog is standing calmly and straight. Do not measure too tightly or too loosely; a consistent, natural fit is the goal. First, choose the appropriate back length, then check if the chest circumference and neck circumference also fit the chosen size. Your dog's weight can also serve as a guide. ATTENTION: the measurements in our size chart are not the measurements of the garment, but those of the dog.

Please order consciously! Every return burdens the environment and resources. Please avoid multiple orders for selection if possible. We are happy to help you find the right size beforehand. If the shirt still does not fit perfectly, we will of course exchange it. However, we do not offer free return labels.

Size Recommendation by Weight (Guidance)

Please note: These figures are guidelines. Breed-specific differences (e.g., between Whippet and Galgo) as well as individual body shapes should be taken into account when choosing a size:

• XS – for Greyhound puppies or very small, delicate Greyhounds (approx. 3–3.5 kg)
  
• S – for small Greyhounds (approx. 3.5–4.5 kg)
  
• M – for standard Greyhounds (approx. 4.5–6 kg)
  
• L – for larger Greyhounds (approx. 6–8 kg)
  
• XL – for large Greyhounds or sturdier animals (approx. 8–10 kg)
