How to choose the right size:
The measurements in the size chart are the dog's measurements . The fleece sweater should sit close to the body so that nothing slips. The sweater should only go slightly over the tail so that the rear is covered and the tail can move comfortably. The back length of the dog is measured from the base of the neck (nape) to the base of the tail. For strong dachshunds, a larger size should always be chosen. Please use our table and our measuring instructions as a guide .
