Specifically developed for the anatomy of Dachshunds

This Dachshund dog shirt has been carefully developed to fit the unique body proportions of Dachshunds, whether Standard Dachshunds or smaller varieties such as Miniature and Rabbit Dachshunds. The long back, narrow chest and low body position create specific requirements for Dachshund clothing. Standard dog apparel often fails to accommodate this anatomy correctly.

The sleeveless design ensures full freedom of movement and is especially suitable for Dachshunds with very short legs, as no sleeve length needs to be adjusted and nothing restricts natural motion. The elastic belly panel keeps the shirt securely in place without slipping or creating pressure. The cut provides full back coverage while allowing natural movement throughout everyday activities.

Soft cotton sweat with a comfortable feel on the dog’s body

Made from high quality cotton sweat with a lightly brushed inner surface, this fabric offers a particularly comfortable feel on the dog’s body. The cotton blend is breathable, shape stable and soft enough for sensitive Dachshunds. Thanks to its dense structure, the shirt is ideal for cooler days, transitional seasons or as an additional layer under another piece of clothing.

The blend of 67 percent cotton and 33 percent polyester ensures durability and long lasting quality without compromising comfort. Even after repeated washing at 30 degrees, the fabric remains stable and comfortable. Minimal shrinkage is normal with cotton sweat and has been considered in our sizing development, so the fit remains consistent.

Handmade in our Berlin manufactory

Each shirt is carefully handmade in our own manufactory in Berlin. Our goal is to develop high quality sighthound clothing and Whippet apparel that adapts precisely to the anatomy of the dog, is functionally well thought out and reliably supports the dog in everyday life as well as during sporting activity. And at the same time looks very good.

To ensure the shirt fits your dog perfectly, please refer to our size chart and measuring guide:

• Back length: measured from between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail
• Chest circumference: measured at the deepest part of the chest
• Neck circumference: measured around the middle of the neck where the collar usually sits

When measuring, make sure your dog stands calmly and straight. Do not measure too tightly or too loosely. The goal is a natural and comfortable fit. Start by selecting the correct back length, then check whether the chest and neck measurements match the chosen size as well. Your dog’s weight can also serve as a helpful reference.

We are happy to help you find the right size in advance. If the shirt still does not fit perfectly, we will of course exchange it. Please note, that we do not provide free return labels.

Size recommendation based on weight (guideline)

Please note that these values are only guidelines. Breed specific differences and individual body shapes should always be taken into account when choosing a size.

• S – for miniature dachshunds or very small dachshunds (approx. 4–5 kg)
• M – for miniature or rabbit dachshunds (approx. 5–6 kg)
• L – for standard dachshunds (approx. 6–7 kg)
• XL – for larger standard dachshunds (approx. 7–9 kg)
• XXL – for strong or stocky dachshunds (approx. 9–11 kg)
• 3XL – for very strong dachshunds or dachshund mixes (approx. 11–13 kg)

Our model Hedda is a female dachshund. She has a back length of 41 cm, a chest circumference of 46 cm, a neck circumference of 28 cm, weighs 7.4 kg and wears size L.
